23rd Sept:
Woke up early as we (Ant, me, wx and CL) have arranged to go to the Flea Market at Lyngby Local Station to see got what bargains we can get... Got kinda delayed a bit cos we are waiting for wx and cl to finish their breakfast... hehe.. anyway we only went over after 12 noon... The Flea Market was not bad.. given that we are so late.. probably all the better bargains are gone already... but we still got to shop around for a bit... i didn't get anything.. since i dun really need anything, but WX got 2 flower pots at 5 dkk each(so cheap!) and CL got a mirror.. =X
After going thru the flea market, i came up with a conclusion... go there early for good bargains.. and go there when it's gonna close for FREE STUFFS... lol... the free stuffs aren't anything that great.. but WX manage to find a damn old album from Michael learns to rock... well.. not bad considering it's free(antique ok??!)
After going to the flea market, ant and me decide to drop by the supermarket to get some stuffs... and CL decided to tag along while WX went home... actually WX told us about a lake nearby lyngby and he'll be going later.. since he cycles... he shall go alone ba..=X Anyway, we decided to go there to see too.. since we are free and it's a Sunday... so should go out!! hehe...
Walked for quite sometime.. and we passed by this structure.. look quite nice given that Lygnby is a small town.. so we decided to take a look.. while walking pass, we saw alot of tomb stones... so we tot it's a cemetery... but after some investigation.. we realised that the Tombstones are all dated back to the 1800s and the names are all quite 'rich' names (like Jacobsen - think Carlsberg, Gustav etc..) we walked up the hill to the Church like structure and realised... it's.... REALLY A CHURCH... lol..=X anyway it's quite a nice church i must say.. small and sweet... It's the Lyngby Church and there's mass on Sunday and they are practising some organ music then.. quite nice... there's also murals drawing kind of thing on the ceiling of the church... quite interesting.. but since there are people practising there... so i didn't venture much into the Church...

So after visiting the Lyngby Church, we continued on our journey towards the Lyngby Lake.. after walking for sometime... we finally reach... and we saw this ferry which just came back... we went to ask them how much it was...(i forgot how much le but it's quite ex... so we decided to give it a miss... But, this ferry actually brings us up stream to another place where there's more water activities and supposedly very nice place... maybe try next time ba...
Anywayz, we continued to walk along the small stream wanting to go closer to the lake... well it's quite a simple an nice place.. u see ducks, seagulls, trees and families... haha... quite a nice place.. one thing about the Danes... they know how to relax... strolling my the stream on a Sunday... out with family enjoying life... i'm really starting to like the Danish lifestyle! :)
As we move through the trees... i spotted a squirrel and we started to snap pictures of it.. but well, squirrel are timid animals so they ran away pretty fast... but i decided to give chase into the bushes... hehe... went in and started to look around for it... and i actually saw it looking back at me... observing my next action... haha.. so cute!!! here's a picture of it looking back at me..(not very clear though..)

Well kinda went on a macro shot spree today... keep shooting Macro shots.. me, ant and CL...LOL, trees, leaves, flowers, fruits, animals, birds even spiders.. we left nothing unscrutinized... haha!!

After the trip.. we are kinda tired and started to walk back to our hostel... ant and CL went to rest.. but not for me!! cos i have another event!! lol... OG dinner~~ My guide prepared a Danish dinner for us... hehe... so yeah.. Free dinner~~~ woo hoo~~
Didn't take much photos... just lazy.. hehe... but well.. the food was ok... basically it's just boiled chicken and potato... but they have a sauce to go with it... the sauce is quite nice though... but it's quite a simple meal though...
What's good is the dessert! haha... my guide boiled the apple and dunno added what in... then with a layer of cream ontop and just chilled it... very nice!!!! yummy!! haha... the dessert only went rd the table for 1 round and it's ALL GONE... sigh... :(
After the dinner there was a small period of silence... quite akward actually... lol.. then my grp mate suggested us to play a game... lol... this game is called 7-11/... basically all u need for this game are 2 dices and plenty of water/beer...(what's new??) haha!
this is how the game goes... everyone just take turns to throw the dice... if u throw a 7 or 11, u get to choose who u want to drink a cup of water/beer. While that person is drinking, u can keep on throwing the dice, and if u get another 7/11, he/she will have to drink another cup... yeah.. sadistic game.. we started with water and we are all bloated like hell... then we continued on with wine an red wine... LOL imagine gulping down one cup of red wine... OMG~ *faint* got a bit high after that... but lucky i was still ok... hehe...(this game reminds me of indian poker.. but i think this is worse... LOL)
After finishing ALL the wine... we decided to go play pool(my guide's hostel have pool table and a bar...)
just watched one game.. it's kinda late and dun really know how to play... haha.. they are good at it sia!! i really mean it.. haha!

A group left while i went to the toilet... so i decided to wait for the others to go back together... to my horror.. i only realised after we wanted to go that all the other guys have BIKES!!! sigh... ended up walking back alone.. :( well one of the guy offered to ride me home..(on the back of his bike) but i think i too heavy le.. hehe.. so i decline the offer... :)
Well, walking alone was quite a nice experience... dessert highway... cool(sometimes cold) surrounding... everything just seem so tranquil... one thing about Lyngby... it's always so tranquil.. really a good place to just live quietly... :)

The turkish people in my container prepared dinner for us tonight... haha! so nice of them... the food was really nice!!! and they made this cake like thing.. but with rice and chicken in it... very very nice!!! wished i can have more.. :( haha... but well... got to talk more to the Americans during the dinner.. seldom talk to them since we dun see each other much... so i guess.. sometimes looks can be deceiving... people who seem cold might not be cold at all! haha...
Well been planning for trips lately too... just came to realised... my travelling spree will be here soon!!! haha... so far here's my travel plans...
